OS/RX 28 October Preview

System Requirements - To run OS/RX 28 your machine must meet the minimum requirements, but for a smoother experience it's preferable to have the recommended specifications.

Minimum Requirements

An x64-based computer (Intel, AMD, VIA, etc)
512MB (0.5GB) of system memory
A display and GPU/iGPU capable displaying 800x600
16GB of free space on your storage device

Recommended Specifications

An x64-based computer (Intel, AMD, VIA, etc)
2048MB (2GB) of system memory or more
A display and GPU/iGPU capable 1280x720 or more
32GB of free space on your storage device

This release of OS/RX is based on Debian 12, as such it may be necessary to update some packages before installing new software.

This release of OS/RX is based on Debian 11, however updating and installing new packages may not be always possible due to it's EoL status.

Status: End of Life

OS/RX 26SE reached End-of-Life on October 1st 2026. Any new updates, security fixes, patches or software will not be available on this system.
